Annual Meetings

The Ascension is the annual reunion of GRELL members and many other technicians and epidemiologists that work on cancer registries in Latin Language countries.

 

This reunion began in the 1970’s decade as a forum for experience sharing and apprenticeship between less developed countries and more developed countries, it became one of the main meeting points for new ideas and scientific investigation projects discussion, organized by several latin laguage countries.

Celebrated annually on the Ascension Day (that’s why the reunion’s name), this conference organization rotates among the country members of the group.
